To vote in New Jersey, you don’t have to show up at your local precinct in person on Election Day! Under New Jersey’s vote-by-mail laws, you can ask your County Clerk to send a ballot directly to your home for any reason. Click the box below and scroll down that page for more information.

Not sure who represents you in Congress or the State Assembly or Legislature? Click “Find Your Legislator” below and fill in your address to find out!

WHEN UNION MEMBERS RUN, WORKING FAMILIES WIN!

No one can represent working families and their unions better than working people themselves.

That’s why the New Jersey State AFL-CIO sponsors an ongoing program to recruit, train, mentor, and support union sisters and brothers running for elected office. Through the New Jersey State AFL-CIO Labor Candidates School, union members gain the skills they need to succeed in the political arena.

New Jersey voters have elected union members to public office 817 times since 1997! These working men and women have a proven track record of placing the interests of working families first.

Membership in the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25 Retirees’ Club is open to retired union members of ALL building and construction trades!

Our Retirees’ Club meets at noon on the 3rd Wednesday of every other month – January, March, May, July, September, and November – at Costa’s Restaurant in Roselle Park. We also have a holiday party in December.

Dues are only $25 a year, which includes a newsletter six times a year. Full buffet meals are served at each luncheon meeting, for a cost of only $25 per person.

In addition to the social aspect of our meetings, we also collect money for various charities at our meetings. There is a list on this page of some of the many charitable organizations we have supported just in the last year or so.

We currently have almost 200 members, and we’d love to have you join us!

For information on how to sign up, contact the office at (201) 507-0330, ext. 0.
