The Sheet Metal Workers’ National Pension Fund is funded entirely by employer contributions and earnings on investments.  No employee contributions are permitted or accepted. Visit their website at


SASMI is an independent trust fund set up to stabilize employment and earnings in the sheet metal industry and to protect members against related loss or interruption of earning power. It does this by providing certain benefits to sheet metal workers, such as supplemental unemployment benefits and underemployment benefits, as well as severance benefits. For the next 90 days, Aetna will offer zero co-pay telemedicine visits for any reason. Aetna members should use telemedicine as their first line of defense in order to limit potential exposure in physician offices. Cost sharing will be waived for all virtual visits covered in-network providers delivering synchronous virtual care (live video-conferencing).
